From Pilot to Practice: Fieldnode at AUTOMA 2026

Fieldnode was pleased to take part in AUTOMA 2026 in Amsterdam, bringing together leaders and innovators from across the energy sector to discuss the future of industrial operations, digitalization and supply chains.

As part of the closing session, Christian Duun Norberg, CEO of Fieldnode, presented “From Pilot to Practice: Scaling Digital Inventories and On-Demand Manufacturing in the Energy Sector.”

The discussion reflected an important shift taking place across the industry. Digital Inventory and On-Demand Manufacturing have already demonstrated their potential through individual projects and use cases over the recent years. What is less know is that the technology and application now have entered a period of real scale-up, building on several outstanding success stories that have already delivered millions in savings.

For Fieldnode, this means looking beyond individual parts and technologies. Real scale depends on connecting operators, IP owners, engineering companies and qualified manufacturers through trusted networks where capabilities can be accessed when and where they are needed.

With more than 290 RFQs processed across 60+ onboarded entities, we are already seeing how our technology and network results in a more connected and responsive supply capability. It is also where the ultimate value is revealed: not in reducing physical stock alone, but also giving industrial organizations more options for accessing critical parts, strengthening supply chain resilience and supporting operational continuity.

We were glad to be part of the conversations at AUTOMA 2026 and to exchange perspectives with organizations working on many different aspects of the future industrial supply chain.

We look forward to continuing these conversations.
